The Cavalry Lunch Club (CLC) will meet for lunch in the Cavalry and Guards Club on Thursday 15th October 2026. Our guest speaker will be The Rt Hon Lincoln Jopp MC MP, is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Spelthorne and a former Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards.

Timings - 12:00 for 12:30

Next Guest Speaker - The Rt Hon Lincoln Jopp MC MP

Colonel Lincoln Jopp MC MP is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Spelthorne and a former Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards. A Sandhurst Sword of Honour, he served in Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving the Military Cross after being shot and wounded while saving lives during the 1997 coup in Sierra Leone. He later received the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service and commanded the Scots Guards on Trooping the Colour.

Elected to Parliament in 2024, Lincoln serves on the Defence Committee and, with Mike Martin MP and Field Marshal Lord Richards, is a founder member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Re-armament. He is also Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Shadow Foreign Secretary, Dame Priti Patel, and an Opposition Whip.

Aged 58, he lives in his constituency with his wife and their three children.
