RACYC
The RACYC regularly races competitively in several offshore series, either with the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) or the Junior Offshore Group (JOG), as well as competing in Services competitions, such as the Combat Arms Seaview Regatta and the Army Offshore Regatta, and one-off events like the popular Three Peaks Yacht Race.
Membership of the RACYC offers a number of benefits including subsidised/free training, cheap sailing on a fine yacht (either at charter rates or as an individual) and opportunities for learning and practising racing skills - all within the environment of like-minded souls. Members with their own boats are entitled to fly the Club blue de-faced ensign.
All serving RAC Officers and Soldiers are now defacto members; membership is provided through Regimental subscriptions.
The Annual Membership rate for non-RAC and retired members is currently £10 per annum, payable by cheque for the first/remainder of the year, followed by a standing order payable on 1st January.
Life Membership is secured by a cheque for £150.
